Swap area supplement to the site swap area

If you have a write up that we can add to the site, post in this area and it will be included. If you wish to discuss what is on the site, or something new, this is the area to do so.

Hi all, I'm new to the site. Must say that there a lot of good info here. Thanks!
I am doing an engine swap putting a 3.4 in a 88 Porsche 944 & have a couple questions that possibly some of you guys have answers to.
    1) Does anyone have a late model Bellhousing part # number for a rear wheel drive application?
    2) What equiptment / information is out there to reprogram the ECM
    3) Any ideas on wiring or harneses of the engine to the car

I know some of you are thinking why not a V8. I like the 3400 because it's about 1/2 the weight and much smaller. at4 inches narrower, its a great fit to add headers. With a little work I expect to see 250HP+ from the base 185HP motor and more if I choose to supercharge. Thats more power and has much stronger torque curve than the Turbo 944. With less weight it should be a fun ride!
