Yea, those headers are a bitch when it comes to fans. I need another one and its going to be hard to get an extra one in there. Might be able to fit a 8" or a 10" in there but its still going to be hard

Yea she needs paint but I got to keep her moving before I can think about paint. Im putting alot of power out through that 4t60e so we'll see how this one takes it.

Ill look for those parts soon hopefully. Got the garage cleaned up but Ive been running around racing/working on the car/trying to find a new job..it sucks

You can use a 3400 top end

I keep trying to talk Loner into a manual swap, but he says he's not ready for another big change, lol. In fact I can get him an F40 6 speeed for around $400 :P

Well IMHO, they do "bolt on" as do 3400 and 3500 top ends

John, You already know my other plans for the car. Thats a HUGE change. Bo and I were talking it over in quite a bit of detail last night so be looking to see the car again toward the end of the year if I can find a new job

I didnt go with a 5speed because 1) It wasnt in the budget to get everything and get the stuff done to make it work 2) I wanted my car back 3) Trans 1 was the original and was cooked on the way home from having the turbo installed due to heat transfer, Trans 2 had problems pretty much right off the bat. I got this one for $200 so Ill see how it holds. Im keeping an eye on it more often and I did some shimming and such to hopefully keep any slippage down. and 4) I HAVE A CORSICA CAPABLE OF 12s WITH AN AUTO! lol. There plenty of these motors built and running similar but there all bolted to 5speeds. I have to be different and keep things complicated. Trust me I would LOVE a 5speed, just not in this car yet

3500 heads won't work on a 2.8/3.1/3100 bore. The chambers on the 3500 heads are about 2mm too wide.

The 2.8/3.1 would need a .060" overbore to clear the chamber but I would think the top of the block could be angle cut to clear, since the rings don't go to the top of the bore. Just a thought.
