DOHC should run better than that. My stock 3100 cutlass ( when it was that ) could keep up with that.

mine is a convertible and it was my first time ever to the track. look at the reaction times and 60fts that slowed me down some. im looking forward to getting back and trying again
-
Because stock sucks...
Convertible will slow you down quite a bit. They weigh a lot more than a normal W. Were you bringing the revs up when you launched, or going right from brake to gas? I know when I had an auto there was a certain point where if i reved it more on the line it slowed me down (probably around my stall speed).

Your 60fts are too high. You have to figure out your traction issue. Lower front tire psi and go a little softer off the line. You should be a mid to high 15 sec car. Thats 3100 teritory.
-
well i had bald touring tires before that i could just roast even at the 23psi i was running and a shot suspension
i now have upgraded suspension and high performance tires. cant wait to get back but i cant afford too i can hardly pay for gas LOL

Mr. Orange.
I managed a 16.0 @ 84.4mph with similar 60ft, so you must have been spinning. I did not spin but had a bad 60ft due to feathering it. Actually I had the best luck with traction with 40psi in the tires believe it or not with 205mm miss-matched all seasons.
So the times look about right, other than you are spinning which makes for the high time. This was with a stock 3100 at the time other than K&N drop in filter and a dynomax muffler.

One of your runs was almost 86mph, so if you had good traction that run you might have broke into the 15's.
