Just came back from the track! Need your Input!!

I came back from the track and the time were horrible! My best i got was a 16.074 a 84.xx!!! I don't know what is wrong with it.
    I have a full 3400 ( because i broke my hybrid) with a 3500 UIM and a 65mm throttle body.
I got 2 check engine one is the EGR ( not hooked up) and a trans temperature sensor.
my 60feet were in the 2.4xx and up.
anyone of you have any idea why the engine is as slow? if you need the time slip i will post them later.

well the ecm got tuned a litle by 3400-modified, for the biger injector and changed the fuel map ( i think) for a malibu ( 3500) one.
Even the MPH were very Low (84.xx mph was my fastest)

How many dead bodies do you have in the trunk?

Id guess it needs more tuning. I don't think any stock tune is going to be useful, especially a 3500 tune on a 3400 engine. You would have to do a datalog to see what its up to right now. I don't know if a trans temp code will do anything to the performance.

I don't think what I had done on that ECM will be of any help to a 3400 in stock form unfortunately. As noted all I did was put in a 3500 MAF table and I think a 3500 VE table for a starting point with the 3500 top end, but as Ben noted, its by no means tuned well.

I'm assuming you don't have any datalogs of the run? And any idea when it was shifting? It's been so long I can't remember if that's a stock trans table for a 96 Beretta or not... what ecm are you running?

I'm pulling up your bin right now to see what was changed.

So far all I can see is its set for 19lb injectors, has a stock MAF table for the 97 venture in it, also has maybe an 05 Malibu VE table, Looks like a 3500 spark table too (which wont do well in a 3400 application) Imported 96 Beretta DHP1.5 files for your shift tables bumped your 1-2 shift 450 rpm second is bumped 800 RPM, Edited your idle RPM's upped your RPM fuel cutt off to 6500, removed limiter (as requested) Disabled some DTC's And changed your drive sprocket ratio to 1.12 (stock for a Beretta)

So to be quite honest, it's not really tuned much at all, and IIRC I noted that when I did the changes.

Try the old 3100 computer and see what happens... I ran 15.3's with a stock OBDI.5 ECM on a 3400 with the #19 injectors installed.

If that doesn't fix it then you have issues somewhere else.

To datalog you would need a scanning suite if you don't wish to program it... so you can probably get away with something from Scantoo.net ScanXL for example. The tool needed is 60 and the software is 80 right now. That will get you the ability to datalog just about anything.

The tool comes with a cheap program you can scan with, but I do not know if you can save logs, or scan good enough to get info to work off of... it may be just more of a visual deal with that included version.
