    Crossover Gasket Question

    Hi everyone,
I am doing some prep work on a 1996 3.4 DOHC engine from a Monte Carlo. The exhaust crossover pipe was detached from the engine when I bought it and I do not know if there are any gaskets that I need to replace before reattaching the component. Are there any crossover gaskets that I need to get?

IIRC the Manifold to X-over does not have a gasket. The 2 flared ends fit together and dont seem to leak. If its rusty, before you put it back together you may just want to clean up any surface rust on the X-over (wire brush or sand paper to make it smooth).
