Somehow pulled out the output shaft on 4T45-E

Hello guys. Long story short, I'm working on an Alero with the 3400/4T45-E that got hit on the driver side wheel. When I went to pull the axle, it would not come out. I kept trying to pry it out, and finally the axle along with the output shaft poped out.

#26 is what came out of the transmission. It is still attached to the cv axle, I have no idea why. Maybe someone can help me out with this.

I can't tell just yet. The cv axle is still attached to it and won't let go.
