Oil filter adaptor
This may have been answered before but i couldnt find it
On my 04 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.4L OHV(and others ive done oil changes on) the filter housing is such that it ALWAYS makes a mess, all over the oil pan and subframe and surrounding areas. Is there a filter adaptor for these motors?

go to a junkyard and find an adapter off of a 95-96 beretta with a 3100. get the big banjo bolt too. the gasket and o ring is like 5 bux at the dealer. other wise 95-98 luminas have a plastic shield that is a drain channel. otherwise brake clean does wonders

The one from a 2.8 or 3.1 Gen2 engine works also. If you need measurements for clearance just let me know, I'm rebuilding a 3400 and have a 3.1 adapter on the shelf.
1989 Camaro RS; Cammed 3500 swap, 45mm ITB's, Street/Strip Kitted 700R4, 3500 stall, Megashifter, 3.73 posi, EQ- LT headers, 3" Hooker Supercomp exhaust, etc...

do you need the adaptor? or are you willing to part from it?
