    4 cyl to 3100 swap

    I am trying to find out if a transmission from a 99 Grand Am with a 2.4L DOHC 4 banger will bolt to a 98 Grand Am with a 3100 V6. Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to get my daughter's car running as easy as I can and so far have found the 4 cyl tranny the cheapest.

    no you have to change the bell-housing for the tranny to bolt up
