Ok, so maybe the newest release of the software wasn't as fixed as I had thought. But, its too late now to go back. Sorry!
With that said, I know some people are having issues with the site, and I am trying to find resolutions as best as I can. One thing I have noticed is that it all seems to work when using Firefox. Now, obviously not everyone wants to (or can, in some instances) switch over to Firefox, or another browser like Opera, Safari, Chrome, etc. I know some of those other browsers have issues as well, but it appears that IE7 and IE8 have the most. Sidenote, if you are still running IE6, it really is time to upgrade to something newer!!
Anyway, if you can read this, but are having other issues and can't post to the site, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. You can send me an email (bszopi at 60degreev6.com), and I will try to work with each person individually to try to figure out a solution. I really don't want to loose any members just because we decided to upgrade our software, but I know it can be frustrating at times.

Its just that through the years, vbulletin has changed the way it calls to the threads, so you need to adapt to make it work. Unfortunately, it is just impractical for us to try to go back through the 200k posts and try to fix links. Brad got the site up and running again and its finally responsive again! I will be spending some time creating articles based on what I used to have on the old WOT-Tech site before going to Square, as well as posting some more dyno results as we get them @ R&R Motorsports. If you are replacing the lower intake gaskets for whatever reason, its most likely going to be a metal and rubber gasket, like this.
which is great, if you only want it to seal.
If you want it to make the power it use to, then you need to remove some of that rubber, like this.
Then you throw it on a flowbench (or take my word for it since I did this step for WOT-Tech)
And see what the flow difference is.

So after way too long, I've finally gotten sick of paying $110/mo to host this site. And what is crazy is, I paid for 3 years up front, got double the cores and double the memory, and it cost me about what 7 months costs on the current host. So it's more cost friendly for me AND it should be just as fast or maybe even faster than we currently have. We shall see.

Too many resources have shown the rod length to be 5.9" for both motors. We have known for a long time that the 3900 LZ9 rod is 5.827" long from measurements, but the LZ4 was kind of a mystery even now in 2023. Maybe its out there, but most people want to build the bigger motor. However, there is something more to these motors than to think of them like bigger 2.8/3.1 motors. Unlike the 2.8 and 3.1, the difference is the stroke and rod, not stroke and pistons.

Hi folks! Sorry I've been offline for quite some time. Been working overseas and it's been crazy! Anyway I finally got around to fixing the leaking steering pump on my 84 Century. As far as I know the PUMP is original to the 1987 year engine (which i bought as a core engine). For quite some time, it has leaked oil slowly, so that if the car sits for a month or so, all the oil is gone out of the steering pump. So, today I fixed it.
