  • im new, planning a swap...

hi everyone, i have a 98 monte carlo ls with a 3100, its got 187000 miles on it, im planning on a 3400 swap and the guys on MyMonte sent me your way.

i will probably be getting an engine from the junk yard and rebuilding it and i figured i might as well cam it up a little too. my bigest question is does it matter which year its from, pre 03 or 04/05..... and also whats the best way to go about tuning the PCM

    thanks in advance

From my limited knowledge of pushrods, anything 00+ is your best bet as far as heads and intakes go for castings. Ben sells HP Tuners OBD2 tuning packages in his store at WOT. Just click the banner at the top of the page.
