  • Clarification on the j body 3400 mount

I'm getting toward the end of a swap and I finally got my hands on my front engine mount. I had a local country machine shop fabricate it for me from the schematics on v6z24.com. For the most part it turned out correct. I had to slightly elongate the holes for the block but it was close. The part that is puzzling me is the ac compressor mount. From comparing it and the new mount it looks like only the bottom two holes and the hole on the timing cover side of the engine will line up. The top hole appears like it will sit out quite a ways from the engine mount. Am I missing some thing or does the top hole just get left out? I would attach pictures but I don't have access to a pc.

Found the mistake. The machine shop forgot to weld a nut onto the upper part of the bracket. hope I can get that fixed tomorrow when I get my down pipe welded.
