  • custom tune for a 3.1 MPFI v6 with a SC

I am curious. if i modified the 3.1 v6 on a 90 chevy beretta, can a chip be burned for it to run with the boost?

egr delete, 160 thermostat as well?

would i have to bring the car in? where?

can i plug a data logger in and get a burned chip in the mail?

i am not sure how to go about this.

I believe the stock ecu/bin will not recognize the boost but there may be an alternative bin that would recognize a 2 bar map or something.

Also Internet tuning is never the best way to go with a custom one off boosted build... It can be done but it's difficult for the tuner to get everything right.

You should also explore local tuning options to see if he someone can dyno tune or street tune the car. You'll get the best results that way.

Stock computer can be ran with boost and the right chip but we do not have a base tune to offer long distance tuning with a supercharger or turbo. You could take the car to our shop in Pompano Beach, FL, or when I am in Indiana, Warsaw will work.
