  • What kind of car to buy??

Ok, so i used to have a 3.4L 95 Monte Carlo. I sold it due to trans issues back in January. I've been driving DSM's since then, and its really not my thing. So i was hoping you guys could help me out.

What type of car should i be looking at?? I rly want a 3.1L V6 such as a Beretta, Monte Carlo, or a Cutlass...what do you guys think?

You just don't want another DOHC? There are plenty of 3.4/3400s that aren't DOHC. Be the same as a 3.1/3100, just larger displacement.

I think the chances of finding a 3.4 DOHC cutty with a 5spd are between slim and none concidering they only made 85 of them and I have one

I've only ever seen 3 of them in my life and thats including mine

                  Real men drive Isuzu Troopers. 60ºV6, RWD/4WD, 5-speed. They're tough sons-of-bitches too.

Real men drive real 4x4's, not import 4x4's, and then they have their daily driver's that are 60 degree V6 DOHC's.

Real 4x4s don't have to be American pigs.

I get better gas miladge out of my 440 with a 650cfm holley than a stock 360 or 383. so as far as dodge V8's go, I think im sitting pretty. and i had a 1965 Ford Thunderbird on a flat deck hanging off the ass, and push starting my sprint car down the street and as far as the torque was concerned there was nothing there, just a dry pickup. I'm not trying to start a fight but domestic's are my thing and imports are your's. Live and let live.

The monte carlo is pretty heavy with the 3.1. I had one for a few weeks. It wasnt even very comfortable. Malibus are light and handle well if you do the suspension. The 3.1 whips it around alright.
