  • Screw Under Throttle Cable Bracket

I don't know what that screw does, looks like an idle control or throttle stop screw on a spring. Can anyone tell me what this thing is? Does it control idle at all other than the IAC? Thanks!

leave it alone!! back away slowly!

It's just the plate stop. Too far in and the plate will go past close and bind.
Too far out and it will hold the plate open and you'll have a high idle and leak.

Just meant to stop the plate is all. It's NOT an idle adjustment. Thats what the IAC valve is for.
