  • D16 (Power steering input)

I'm not using D16 on my 1992 DOHC-Fiero swap. It's my understanding when the switch is grounded on the power steering rack it increases the RPM. Is this correct? Any thoughts on what the RPM increase would be if D16 were grounded directly? My car's not running right now, so I can't test it myself.

    Thanks

it doesn't actually raise your idle speed, instead it attempts to correct for the excessive load by instantly adding IAC steps to maintain the same idle speed.

in BHAK, 12 or 14 steps are added, depending if A/C is also engaged or not.
    BCFA is 10 or 12.
