  • 3.4 DOHC intake manifold question

I know that the early and late intake manifolds are different in that the runners are different sizes. Is there a way to tell which is which from the outside?
The engine I have is early but the builder said the intake was from a late model.

If the throttle body can be removed from the upper intake manifold, it's a late ('96-'97) one.

Thanks, then what I have is a late one on an early engine.
This might help in getting the tune right, finally. (crosses fingers)
