How well can you weld and fabricate?

Overall, not my first choice for engine swaps.

Should I use the 3.4 liter DOHC I've built a lot of classic muscle but this is my first transverse motor don't know if I should go with a supercharger or turbo

I agree about the 3.4 DOHC. I had one and wasn't impressed.

It's obviously a taller engine and hugely expensive! Every OHC engine I've owned are expensive!

Personally, I'd leave the 3400 in the Alero and just build it!

I don't know if your engine cradle has all the proper mounts for a LQ1. Post a pic of one and all let you know if it will bolt up or not. But I'm betting the rear mount is missing in a 03.

I put in a l67 series 2 I've made new mounts have it in but need wire diagrams for the ecu plugs on the stock 03 alero 3400 sfi so I can wire it to a 97 or 98 grand prix 3800 sc ecu
