    anybody know of a reliable company that sells remanufactured 3.4s?
    i dont want to get a junk yard engine cause the junk yards around here are well, crap

    how much are you looking to spend? i know a guy that has 3 crate motors. for 900 ea.

      Id go that route if you don't want to have your motor rebuilt. I prefer rebuilt over crate motors, at least if you take the time to spec it out and make it better than GM tolerances allow them to make the motors to begin with.

      Seems like the price of motors has gone up, so 900 isn't too bad at all.

        Yeah, when I worked at optimax a LQ1 was $2600.00CDN. So that's like $2000.00USD. Plus that was a junk rebuild, WAY worse than stock.

        Go with the grate.

        If you are really picky, buy the crate and rebuild it. Some rehoning, better pistons, rings, gaskets maybe a little PP job. Then it's all good.

          rebuild your old motor later just put 95 crate motor in 92 gran prix but now building blown 92 motor give 1500 for my motor. 900 is a great price an you can take time to build old motor right an still have a ride in a weekend with a warranty
