Do you want a quick spooling daily driver or a high rpm drag car? I went with quick spool and matched a turbo.

I use a T04e-50 for my 3100 L82.....that turbo is barely just large enough for my engine. You may consider a T04e-57r t04e-60 as they are a little larger but not much larger. Probably perfect for a 3400 DOHC, but I would ask around.

keep in mind the T04e-54 is smaller then the 50 trim. Kinda funny how they list it. I think the GT35R is the next size up but again, double check.

50 Trim - max flow rate of 46 lb/min. Efficient up to 420 whp.
54 Trim - max flow rate of 44 lb/min. Efficient up to 400 whp.
57 Trim - max flow rate of 50 lb/min. Efficient up to 460 whp.
60 Trim - max flow rate of 53 lb/min. Efficient up to 490 whp.

Hey I know that turbocharging it would be most power. But everyone is putting a turbo on their lq1. I wanted to be unique, so I was wondering if there was enough room in my engine bay to both turbocharge and supercharge it. I would use a centrifugal sc for the supercharger.

Twin chargers are possible. You need a bypass system for the SC when the turbo boost comes on. That is typically how I see Tcharging. The SC gives power low, the turbo takes it high. Best of both worlds.

Also, a 5psi SC + 5psi TC doesn't = 10 psi, it is higher due to compounding the pressure ratio.
