Why would you need them on a 3.4?

Stock are fully adjustable. I think the adjustable hold down tool is what is being looked for. Those weren't accurate from what I was told (I am not a machinist) and it has been discussed to make hold downs with the flats machined at an angle already proven for the timing, though nothing has been produced for sale yet.

The best way to go is to use a flat tool, and mark your crank pulley with the degrees and set the crank timing for each cam rather than adjust at the cam itself. The width of the notch is exactly 1 degree thick, so you can take that and print on tape or measure and mark your own if you want. Its a DIY engine for the most part and this is the method I would use if I wasn't using the "-13 degree exhaust retard". That is crank degrees, its -6.5* at the cam.
