  • Long-time lurker!

Hey all. My name's Eddie, been lurking for years, but am finally getting around to posting. Am only semi-new to the engines though. I did an LA1 into a '99 Monte in the past, so I'm not exactly a total novice, but I haven't done what anyone would call a complex swap yet.

But I'm planning on it. I'm looking to do a 3500 (LX9) + F23 transmission into an '85 Fiero with an '88 cradle swap. I've begun the info and parts-gathering phase. I expect to start soonish, for varying definitions of soon. So, there'll probably be a post or two from me in the swap thread, asking questions. (Probably mostly stupid ones, but, alas.)

    So yeah, uhm, hi.

Hello, at this time a 3400 swap may be better. Unless you can find some TCE crank triggers.

I have a extra crank trigger if someone needs it.
