Just about ready to start body work its taking for ever to sand down the original paint and I see something about using mineral spirits to eat the paint any one attempt this before did it eat your window seals?

It really wasn't necessary to take the paint off. Just sanded and prepped correctly it could've been used to help block the car some so you wouldn't have to do so much filler primer to get it laser straight. Now you have to make sure there's no stripper residue left to create future problems.

Well the hood needed to be stripped an around the front side makers witch is all I stripped the paint was chipping off and some rust holes and acouple mean dents plus I might be making some altercations to the hood but I did go a little overboard with stripping it
