Vector FX-1 Performance Timer Accelerometer by Beltronics

What are the new Performance Timer Accelerometer products? The Performance Timer Accelerometer Vehicle Performance Computers evaluate your vehicle's performance by measuring its acceleration, horsepower, cornering & braking forces. What exactly do the Performance Timer Accelerometers do? In the "Timed Run" mode, the Performance Timer Accelerometers measure your vehicle's acceleration & braking forces during a brief timed run, & calculate acceleration times (including 0 to 60 mph times, quarter mile times & speeds, & 60 to 0 braking time & distance). After you make a one-time setup with your car's weight, the unit can also calculate horsepower. In the "G-Meter" mode, the Performance Timer Accelerometers continuously measure & display the acceleration, braking, & cornering forces your car is producing. The Performance Timer Accelerometers provide an easy, fun, accurate way to measure your car's performance. If you tune or modify your car, the Performance Timer Accelerometers let you measure how much your vehicle's performance & horsepower have changed. For drag race, autocross, track event or road race enthusiasts, the Performance Timer Accelerometers can measure your vehicle's performance as you change components, set-up, or driving styles. This unit has a 32-character backlit LCD display, & saves the most recent timed run in memory.

Ok. So your 3.4 is modded? Right? My home track is Cordova ILL and I have had a 91 GP with a 3.4L STOCK with the execption of no Cat and it ran a 15.58 @ 89.94mph. What did you run b4 the mods? Im guessing you have takin a bunch off you et over the course of you opperation. Is yours a GTP? I'm just wondering if there is a diff between the Real GTP package or (like what I had) a SE with the 3.4L. I saw a GTP at the track and he was runnin 17.1 in the quarter to my 15.9. I'm not trying to knock your ride or anything im just really wondering about the package deal if they are slower. Let me know what you ran b4 mods. Thanks.

gtp package = hood louvres pretty much. there can be a lot of variation from 3.4 car to 3.4 car. my 96 had a few mods and could only run a 16.9 @ 5800'

thats pretty good, but without having a slip on a track, its not totally reliable
