  • 3500T Camaro : still work to do.

No 10's yet just some ridiculous MPH.

The car is soo slow out of the hole, it's actually funny.

This is the new Z28 IROC car with a 3.27 gear.

I'm not sure what the boost level was I think around 14 - 16 psi.

The car runs 11.40-11.50 at 8 PSI pretty consistently as I found out when I won the 11.50 index "street warz" class this past Sunday.

Should be some vids and stuff coming up.

Nice times! How much boost did you use to get to 11.1?

14 - 16 around. I was busy holding the car straight as it does do the "slick wobble" about 100 feet out which is interesting. haha.

Huh I've never run full drag slicks so I don't know what that's like. Do you think it's a dog out of the box because of the gear ratios or do you just need a launch control setup

takes too long to spool the journal bearing turbo.

1.9XX sixty foot is OK for a N/A 3.5L making 200HP (which is my car for the first 70 feet) LOL.

Think a ball bearing gt35r-sized turbo might get rid of that lag?

Edit to add: with a twin-scroll t4 exhaust housing of course

A stutter box will eliminate it.

Need to drop that short time and you will be in the 10's.

How is your suspension set up? Do you have weight in the rear bumper?

haha oh it doesn't even try to spin, it's all hookup. No weight back there at all, don't need it.

The car has a aftermarket panhard bar, tubular rear lower control arms and all poly bushings, is about it. Eibach springs and billstein shocks.

Yeah but my bud landed a 12.2et with a stock 3800 with a cam and suspension upgrades (Pure Stock Class)

                    1.65 60'

Trust me, a few things you can do to drop that time by a ton.

                      That's a stick car though isn't it ?

The issue with mine is that the stall works correctly when the turbo is spooled, but when it's not,it stalls at 3100 RPM (200HP) then when the turbo spools (4-500 HP) the stall comes in the correct 5000RPM.

I can't foot brake it to 5000 cause it just goes through the brakes at 3100.

I hope the stutter box will hold 3100 at around 8 psi, then that'll be like a 200HP gain and hopefully enough to launch better.

That's what I was thinking, could load the motor to almost any boost/rpm point you want. 5000 rpm and 12 pounds boost= SMOKE!!!!! But if you can get it to hook up, what a ride!

yeah for sure, then I need an upgraded rear end and likely a much better suspension setup. I'd be happy with a 1.6 without a brake.

Even just having the 1.6 would put me at a 10.80

That car is an auto, 4500 stall if I remember correctly. Making roughly 275-ish at the wheels. It's not always about power, it's about weight transfer. I could do 2 flat with my old 3.1 iron head and dry rotted street tires lol.
