  • Were our cars meant to do this? :D

Here's some footage of my High Speed Autocross event at Blackhawk Farms Raceway this past weekend. It's my second fastest run, unfortunately my fastest didn't get taped, thank you very much camcorder record button!

If you like this, I also have a video of a practice in a downpour when I actually outhandle a C5 Corvette!
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

    Oooooh, I wanna do that.

Sucks that your vid just whites out everything outside the car. I couldn't hardly see where the track was.

Tell me about yer car... what's in it, what have ya done?

edit: your sig quote is my sig on some other forums. :P Tho I attribute it to he who said it (Adam Savage).

Nice. I plan to make it up to Blackhawk for some of these events once my car is racing. Are you a member of Midwest Council?

Sure am, and my local club is Lake Shore Sports Car Club. They're having another autocross at Blackhawk in august, but it coincides with the Grand Prix Gathering, so I don't think I'll be going, unless something happens where we can keep the engine cooler so I have some power on the top end after 20 seconds.

Fuzion ZRi 245/50/16s on the front, Eagle F1 245/50 16s on the back, but those are getting replaced this weekend with two more Fuzion ZRis. Best tire I ever bought!

              The Vette footage is served!

Mine doesn't roll much at all in the rear, but then I also got 300# springs right away as opposed to what Brian at FFP suggested. The sturt tower brace really tied everything together nicely. Now all I need is to work on the rear susp. aarms and front stuff.
