    Here is a 3.1 (with first-gen 2.8 iron-head top end) that has an original LG5 TGP turbocharger installed on it. The turbo is whatever came standard-issue on the LG5. I got it from a burned TGP at the junkyard.

    It's running about 13 PSI. It goes without saying the engine management system is not stock.

    It has mad torque up to about 4500 RPM but above that it is tapering off.

    This is an a Chevy Celebrity (cousin to your Pontiac 6000).

    If you decide to boost your car, please PM me. I have a tune for a "stock" boosted 2.8 Gen II in an A-body car with speedometer cable system. I will gladly give you the file as a starting point. There are some issues with the TGP program in an A-body car. The speedometer / TCC and air conditioner don't work if I remember correctly.

            The turbo location would be inside the dash in a RWD vehicle. There's nothing really special about the engine other than the turbo
            '89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11
