  • 92 Grand Prix Sedan, LQ1, 5 speed

    Guys,

I've come into some recent financial problems and I need to sell the GP for funds. I'm asking $2500. Follow the link below to see a post detailing everything done to the car.

I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Add headers and that's as far as I know of for things that have changed.

A couple other things have changed. But someone needs to be interested in a LQ1 powered car with headers. Seriously.

I am, but I would rather have it be my 92 so I could spend more money on other things, like replacing my once round rims that Elkharts fine roads have made a shape other then a perfect circle...

There's no oil pump issue. There was an issue with lifters losing pressure after I came off the track when I was road course racing, but using heavier oils fixed that. Everything is fine, but I've heard enough people say they're interested. If you're serious, I need a real indication.

Hmm, i read somthing a while ago saying that you did somthing To your oil pump where it was actually bypasing the oil back into the pan (or somthing along those lines..). Let me do a little research on this, and Ill get back to you.

I didn't do anything to the pump, ok? What we did is modified the bypass in the oil cooler that bolts to the outside of the block in btween the block and the oil filter. It's easily unmodded if you don't want it in there. Just take the cooler off and remove the plug.

And even if I had modified the pump, are you implying that I intentionally did something detrimental to the car?
