i got a 3100 in my garage that needs a head gasket, its got about 130,000 on it, its got a few performance goodies with it too.
btw do you ever go to the local car meets or the drag strip? wouldnt mind meeting another 60* guy in the area.

How much you looking for the motor?

Ive been getting varying prices from across the board on high mile and low mile motors? Its strange. Seems these 3100 SFIs are pretty rare/hard to get for some unknown reason?

Can I ask why it needs a head gasket?

Car its going in definetley isnt a fast car :0 lol

Give me a good price I can come take it off your hands tomorrow evening or something. Check ur pms.

look on ebay for user lkq-triplettasap i picked up my 2001 3100 with under 40k miles from them for $199. they have places in akron, toledo, and they ship from any of their yards to the one nearest you for pretty cheap.

3400 SFI with 43K on it will cost me $575 and a trip to Akron

Just to rich for my blood.

If I cant get a decent motor cheap I will just have to rebuild the one I got or scrap the car

              Ya it was, meant $575

Im trying to spend about $300-$350 for the proper motor.

Everyone's prices for the most part are sky high and I just cant find any of these motors at the local junkyards. If they do have one anything under 80K they want $675 for it...

I will scrap the car before paying that much, lol. Crap its just a 3100. Its not like a race motor?

WTF is up with this shlt?

I think I found a winner. Somewhat local junkyar (45 mins away) has a 3100 SFI with 78K on it for $300.

Now the problem is this. I guess there is something special with the 3100 SFI in my car???
