I've been adding small power improvements to my 3100 for a while now, and recently I saw an episode of Wheeler Dealers where they mentioned that after a new high-flow intake and exhaust system was added, there was too much power for the computer to understand, and not much of it made it to the wheels until they tuned the computer for an extra 40 horsepower.

I was wondering if they were just trying to subtly sell performance computers, if it was just a Subaru thing, or if I may be getting near that point myself.

I'd like to get a tuning computer at some point, but I just don't make enough for it right now, and the other stuff I've been doing has been largely discounted due to where I work.
