My trusty old Z has developed a problem with the instrument panel/dash lights...only the lights.
For a while they would sometimes not turn on immediately or after hitting a bump would go out, but then come right back on.
I have searched all the obvious, switch which shows a brown w/ white wire changing voltage when the slider is moved when testing with a meter.
The fuse is good and has power to one side when the fuse is removed.
Nothing seems to be it.
I recently found a listing at Rock Auto for an Instrument Panel Cluster Relay. ACDELCO Part # 13502674 {#14100455, 158426} GM Original Equipment
Based on the behavior, I suspect this is the issue.
I have looked in both electrical boxes under the hood, and the cluster of relays etc. under the passenger dash, but nothing is marked as the Instrument Panel.
Does anyone know where this relay is?
