  • Wiring Diagrams after 1995...Anyone have them....

I went to the wiring diagrams under Computer (In Depth) but it only covers up to 1995 3.4 engines.

I am trying to convert a 2000 Grand Am 3.4L to RWD, but can not find a good connector pin-out description for the PCM.

Haynes gives a good schematic of the engine electrical, but only gives wire color codes, not the number pin-out on the PCM. If you don't have the actual PCM hook-up harness your kind of out of luck.

www.alldatadiy.com would be your best bet.

Agreed. Where do you think all that data came from? I'd have more of them listed, but at $15 a car ($20 for the first if you are a new member, then $15 for each after that) I can't afford to get diagrams for every car. If you, on the other hand, want to get on AllData and get them, and perhaps share them with the site, I'd be more than happy to put them up for you.

Why do you need the pin-outs at the ECM if you are converting to RWD? Just hook all the sensors up to your existing harness and run it off your existing computer. Guess it would help if I new what it was going into to say that would work 100%, but it would be the easiest IMO.

These are from a 1996 Monte Carlo LS with the 3100 (L82) and 4T60-E

I have a subscription to AllDataDIY for a 1996 Monte since I'm doing a swap from OBD 1.5 to OBD 2. If you need anyother diagrams from that year just ask.

EDIT: I'm working on trying to get the files small enough to be attached

EDIT: Alright, I had to break it into 3 files. Should work now

How do I get access to the wiring diagrams on this site?

I go to Indepth--> Computer--> Wiring Diagrams and all I see is "Here are some wiring diagrams for various ECM/PCMs." and I don't see any diagrams.

Email me the files and I'll put them on the server.

As far as the wiring diagrams on the site, looks like I have some fixing to do. Yea... Here is the direct link to them:

Zip file #2 keeps giving me an error when I try to unzip it. Try either attaching it again, or email it directly to me...

Ok, the site is updated with alot of what I have. I found some other diagrams, I just have to figure out what they are all for before I put them up...

If anyone else has wiring diagrams or pinouts for something else that isn't listed, let me know and I'll put them up as well...

Here's a diagram of the C100 connector. C100 connects engine wiring harness to interior wiring harness.

There really isn't that many diagrams we can use on that site. And, many of them will be relatively the same because they used either the 7727 or 7730 ECM. I'll go through some of them, but it might just be repeats of what I already have (and have yet to put up).
