  • what files do i need?

    well i have an 88 beretta 2.8 (well 3400) 5spd, ECU # 01227730

    what files do i need to tune with tunerpro? and data logging? what is the file type for both of them? im still learning about this stuff, so go easy on me! lol

    I would try the BFUZ.bin file with the A1 xdf file in tunerpro. Im not sure on a file for scanning with tunepro as I use freescan (do a search for freescan). 410b def file in freescan (drop down box).

    You will need to change the code for your EGR (flag, set to vacuum, not digital) and the speedo code, divisor and pulse per mile. Copy those off your stock chip. Stock code is 6D which is not supported too well. You will have to look in the hex code for a pattern and see where the divisor and ppm is. That or someone may have it written down.

        well i got freescan, it says it cant find the specified file... i downloaded i twice to make sure it just wasnt corrupt

            not, like when i open the program, i can see all the features it has and stuff, but i just wont load any of the ECU files or what ever im guessing

                    ok it "worked" but still not reading anything... i even tried my friends scan tool, it couldnt connect to the vehicle or something, it was weird

                      is it set to interact? 50ms delay. Hit Force Data. if it doesn't move, hit it again. Both numbers should be moving.

                            Your stock chip is not A1 mask, which is what that code is for (and works for 91-93 DOHC as well). If you are using BFUZ now, then its fine.
