  • KCOOLVLT in $A1

I was just curious if anyone had tried using the KCOOLVLT settings in $A1 as a nitrous window switch... Seems to me if you wired the TPS signal to C14 and set KCOOLVLT to ~4.9V and KCLTMRLM to 0 you could use it to trigger an armed nitrous system. Or any other system you want triggered at WOT.

Is it safe to divide the TPS signal wire to two ECM inputs?

TPS is able to be read through multiple A/D channels if you wanted, but not through that one.... it has a pull-up resistor on it, so it would actually skew the TPS signal significantly upwards at all times.

if you were to reconfigure the resistor, you can make it a pull-down, then TPS could be read through it fairly easily.

i want to say the existing code reads that channel pretty infrequently though.... 5 times/second? whatever the conversion is for the associated time-delay.
