  • swapping supechargers?

if someone could help me out here, that would be wonderful. i'm new to the "3.4L modifacation club" and what-not, and i was wondering if the supercharger from the new pontiac GTP's is compatible with my 1996 monte carlo z34. if not, does anyone know where to find one for my car?

No, it isn't. And they don't make one. It would have to be custom.

There is a shaft that goes across the engine and taps into the belt.

But on a 3.4DOHC that would be a lot harder to do, it would be eaiser just putting a turbo(By eaiser I'm saying its easier than running a shaft from the timing belt, but still horribly diffucult).

Didn't brian89 say something somewhere about the more piping you have for the intake equals more lag time?

Isn't the heat exagerrated a bit?

Yeah, I got those links off of http://torontodomestics.com forum.

They were talking about more pipe=more lag. I woun't get into it cause I don't know much about this stuff.
