I have a coolant leak and i have located it but i do not know what the part is called it is obviously a gasket. I have a 90 lumina 3.1 auto trans, now it is located on the left side of the engine by the water pump there is a metal hose and a small rubber hose the metal hose goes to the right and somewhere under the enginge, and the rubber hose goes into the radiator, the leak is on a gasket that has two bolts and these hoses run into it i do not know what that is called if you have any help on what this part is or how to replace it i will appreciate any help having to keep fill up the coolant is a pain in my ass!!!

No, thats not the thermostat, but go to Advance or something and ask for the upper heater coolant line gasket, I think thats right. Or just take the old piece in there. Its easy to change out
