  • 3400 exhaust, will this work?

Ok dont flame me for this question even though i am sure everyone gets sick of these type of questions, but i want to be sure before i build. I have a stock 3400 going into my fiero and i was wondering what you guys thought about and exhaust like this. Like will it be really loud or sound good or what, you guys are the experts.

I would use 2 glasspacks and the shortest magnaflow cat, any suggestions? thanks!

I wouldn't, Glasspacks aren't the greatest sounding things out there... Maybe some Flowmaster Hushpower 2's

If you do go ahead and do this then upsize the cherrybombs by 1 or 2 steps. I had one for 2.5" pipe but it tapered to 1.9" in diameter internally.

well is there a good sounding tube like muffler that i could squeeze in like my picture shows.

I was thinking about these, anyone heard of them. http://www.classicchambered.com/

also on the exhaust subject, I have a hand held grinder, like a dremel, would it be ok to take down some material at the exhaust ports on on the engine and the manifolds? would it be worth anything or just leave it alone? thanks

If you want a loud racing sound run 2 resonators and no mufflers.. goto a sports car race and listen to those cars.. if u like that sound, than resonators and or just straights with ur cat.. that will make it loud and it will not sound like a ricer at all..

Use a pair of Magnaflow Magnapacks. Very similar size wise to Cherrybomb Glasspacks but eliminate more of the rough rasp/pop than they do.
