  • 3.1 headbolts 3400

    hi

    rockauto sent me headbolts for a 91 to 94 3.1 v6. are they the same a the 3500 and 3400?

    Felpro sells both so cross check the part numbers. If they are different I would not use them. The length and material may be different.

      If you click on the part numbers on rock auto it shows the cross reference. Depending on application they fit cars ranging from '87 to '05. They should be exactly the same as the 3400 bolts.

        all gen2 and gen3 '660's use the same headbolts.

          I had different part numbers for my 88 2.8 head bolts compared to the 3x00. It's due to how the upper motor mount attaches to the block on the passenger side. The one head bolt has a pin that threads into it for the mount to attach to. The other 15 bolts should be interchangeable.

            yah, i thought of that.. some of them had that 1 different bolt. Either way, the rest are the same.
