  • Will mrz pulley fit on a 05 impala 3400

Just wondering if the mrz underdrive pulley will fit on a 2005 impala 3400 ? just wondering because it says baretta , lumina and corsica on the web site ?

I'd be willing to bet no. They told me they wouldn;t fit a 2002 Grand Am either. I wish someone made them.

are you talking about this one. its the crank pulley

i wouldnt run it on my engine. theres no dampener built into it like the factory one but its your engine so do what you want.

you do realize its not vehicle specific right.

I don't see the 24x ring, so it won't work with SFI computers.

Ben i think its the same deal as the FFP ones were where you have to put the ring in yourself.
either use the ring from your pulley on the engine now or get one off ebay or a scrapyard.
thats what i had to do with the FFP pulley i had. put the ring in and never used it then sold it.

its got the same 3 screw holes that the FFP one had to hold the ring in.
same deal as the one i used to have

My apologies, I was speaking about the alternator culley. The crank pulley will work but as others have said it isn't a bolt on affair.

MRZ told me that there was no bolt on pulley for a 2002 grand am (where my original motor came from) nor a 2005 Malibu.

Why do you have such thick spacers? I don't see a turbo or SC..

Change those hoses for non over sprayed ones!

Okay then, let me rephrase that for you.

Why did you have such thick spacers? I don't see a turbo or SC..

Sure hope you changed those hoses for non over sprayed ones, those look UGLY!

                        Better?

what's wrong with big spacers? long runners promote low-end torque, an extra inch would help a little, and also reduce heat-soak of the UIM/TB

it definitely kept the UIM significantly cooler.
now ive got the 3500 UIM and 1/2" spacers i had on now.

How many "1/2" spacers do you have on there? Why not have an one piece thick spacer cut? It doesn't look great at all.
