  • need some help with my v6.

Like I posted in my other thread.
I got this 3.4 V6 completely rebuild, 264H cam, pacesetter headers etc etc.
intake and ECM is from the original 3.1 engine ( so on the outside it looks stock
    in my 91 camaro )
I got like 190psi on every cilinder.
heads are shaved, ported the heads and intake slightly.
    used 3.4 injectors.

    the engine runs smooth

I admit that my car is almost 200 pounds heavyer then stock.
but still I ind my powerlevels a little bit nonexistant.

0-60 is still a best of 9.5 secs

I already bumed timing at full throttle from 22 degrees in the chip to 28 degrees at WOT 4800+ rpm ( no knocks yet ).

anyone got an idea what the max timing limit is at WOT for these engines ?

    Automatic?
Get dyno results... can't really talk about being down on power until you have those.

You're using iron heads, right? Those need extensive port work to start to compete with aluminum heads.
    Current:
\'87 Fiero GT: 12.86@106 - too dam many valves; ran 12.94 @ 112 on new engine, then broke a CV joint
\'88 Fiero Formula: slow and attention getting; LZ8 followed by LLT power forthcoming
\'88 BMW 325iX: The penultimate driving machine awaiting a heart transplant

    Gone, mostly forgotten:
\'90 Pontiac 6000 SE AWD: slow but invisible

Then you'd want a totally different intake manifold. None of the camaro intakes are well suited to make 200HP, without resorting to boost or squeeze.

The fastest way to 200HP from a 3.4L is 3500 cylinder heads and intake.

Over where? I don't see any location information. Most people will assume US or Canada if there is no information to indicate otherwise.

              Belgium.
There are probably like 20 camaros total in belgium and like 30 firebirds ( mostly banshee nose ) in the whole country.
              Almost al v6es

What do you have for GM midsize FWD V6 cars there? The 3.5L was only sold in transverse applications AFAIK.

                    Look at Opel/Vauxhaul Vectras, 2004-2006.

You want the 3.5L "3500" V6 engine, specifically everything from the headgaskets up.
