max, generally when i hear hot tank, i think of a mild acid bath, at least that's the way my father always described it to me.

found a nice wiring diagram that will help when splicing the 3.4 injector harness into the 3400 one

The easiest way to clean up the LIM is a hot tank or a hot wash, heck, a dish washer would work great seeing as how your not married!

i should get a purpous used one for my garage when i build it, not a bad idea...

Got my package today from TCE

I felt like an 8 year old on Christmas morning when I disembowled what lay inside.

    Without further delay....

    MoEr Partz pics !

To summarize, I got the billet thermostat housing, black annodized 3400 TB (bored to 59mm), 3x00 valve covers, and a billet/chrome "3400" oil filler cap.

I'm especially impressed with how great the throttlebody looks am determined to paint my upper intake to match.

Marc was great to work with and would order from him again without pause for second thought.

    that's it for now!

Quick questions regarding the cleaning of parts:

    1. What is a good way to clean up the LIM & UIM? There seems to be a lot of dust &etc INSIDE the upper intake.

    2. As far as the rocker arms are concerned can I just clean them up with soap/water and then let them soak in oil until time for installation?

I'll have some more new parts coming in soon and am trying to get some modifications done on the UIM as we speak.

    thanks

I will do my best. Your tips ease my mind when it comes to this procedure. I'll be tapping the LIM and doing some grind work on the UIM so that may be the next update

haha there isn't going to be a "Mrs." for many years. I just turned 23 back in february.

And that's not the kitchen table, it's a coffee table

as if that were better haha
