Anyone M90 a 3.4DOHC?

    thank you. But if you all remembered john lingenfelter's zr1 that was tuned? it was obdI and theres not that many people in the world that do that tuning. sinister performance is doing the tuning. Its a lot of money but this has never been done. one chip tuned with alcohol injection and one with no alcohol. I would have switched to obdII but I get the same tuning at obdI I just pay out more. alot of mods for the sc bracket. I'll keep people informed of what I'm doing. took it out the other day its wicked. never got on it, by the time i got to half throttle it was atleast 50% faster than na. My neighbors hate me, its way too loud. I'm gunna put some better mufflers on it and quiet it down.

    I do have an intercooler and its a 95 gtp. I just haven't put it on yet cause i'm checking clearance I don't want to jack this guys thread so i'm gunna start a new one

    I just looked at my spare block I see what you mean that should hold nicely
    Still a brace to the engine block would help. Another concern is engine movement. Just make sure you get a nice flex silicone joints or you may tare the ic up. Engine may twist 10deg or more. I like it!

    why couldnt you just turn the pipe down right away to a inter cooler?
    like on the z34 lumina,it has a perfect spot down in the front.i dont know what car you guys are refering to,or if it has a bumber cut out like the lumina.
    but if a guy has all the money and skill to do this work,than im sure he could buy or fab up a front bumper cover,and make it look good.im not trying to be a dick head or anything,and i also dont like the import look.but i thought it might be the best way to cool the charge?

    dave called it out just right about the piping location. the three bolt holes work out great. they held up fine we put enough pressure on it so that there's no way its going anywhere.... I'm a toolmaker and ase tech. i fabed this bracket with t6 aluminum. the intake piping..... ahuh look at the pics again it runs right in front of the vents, its not even close to the exhaust manifold.. the radiator is mounted to the right of it. a custom air filter was made cause it was cutting it close. i'll have to get pics posted later when i get a camera again for you to understand

    I would not be affraid to run the intermediat shaft with the charger like the sho has it.. Keep the carrier bearings greased and your fine. Some have a housing over the shaft some don't. I strictly used this pic to show an example of it..

    The issue i see with mounting it in place of the A/C compressor is space.. It would be awfull close to the rad/fans and you would have alot of piping, not to mention the piping would run right past the exhaust manifold and heating up the charge...

    Here is an example with the housing over the shaft. RIPP charger for a 3.0L Eclipse

    kinda like this, sorry its sleeping under a garage right now but i've had it done since the starting of spring and never got around to taking pictures of it and had to dig up this one. and about 300hp maxing out and what not, what about gearing???? that doesn't make sense. 3800 gtp's that are fwd that run 11's and 10's. proven anything is possible. suspension, gearing and tires helps you get thoughs numbers. a 3800 on f1 tires (street legal) ran 12.7 1/4 time and yea is squawked bad and still made that time. I know it can be done cause I was the one who built up that gtp..

    Maybe the zerks go through the brackets and into the shaft housing...
