Calculated my 1/4 mile from a data log. I let off at 90mph... I shouldn't have I think!!! Plus it shifted 2-3 waaaay early at 5350 RPM. I was recording with a camera too so I couldn't hold 2nd and manually shift. 1-2 shift was nice as always winding out at 5774 RPM and pulling all the way up to it.
Well I got 15.2 @ 90mph ... sound about right?
That's with full tank of gas, 52mm TB and stock exhaust minus muffler and resonator! LOL!! On this old 200,000 mile 3100 with 3400 & 3500 intake manifolds! Better exhaust and bigger TB should help hahaha.
Still though, not bad for an old exhaust restricted motor eh???
2ndly, Anyone else do this? How accurate? Any calculators out there to feed my log to?
I tried moonwell's log analyzer but it's in beta and doesn't work exactly well with my data stream... It does give me a .csv (minus IAT and RPM) though to calculate myself with. It said 16.9 1/4 no way that's right lol It did say 0-60 in 6.43 which sounds more accurate than it's 1/4mile calc...
