I believe it's a standard m3, the csl had a different bumper with integrated cold air. The car above, the entire passenger headlight is a carbon ram air that feeds directly into a carbon DTM airbox for the ITB's. It's a completely stripped down race car with only a lap mate in place of the cluster and a few switches inside. When rolling on a dyno (no ram air effect) it makes almost 400whp o.0

That's a sweet car. CSL or standard M3?

Not so much conspiracy theorist...that stuff is for the paranoid with too much free time. The FBI went live with the system a month ago. So it is no longer in testing, it is deployed and fully functional.

Most people don't mind.....though I prefer privacy from big governemnt.

No big deal really unless your a wanted man. I just don't like being tracked like that cause I know it will be used to make money tracking consumer habits.

Yeah well, no 60v6 in my stable right now... just a couple four-bangers. Most of my "wrench time" lately is spent scraping rust off a Nissan 720.

Z3M is a quick car. We worked on one last year at the shop, it was the coupe, though. Sorry to hear about that.

Prices have come down on them some, but they sell for a pretty penny. Not only would his oil pan be smashed, he likely destroyed the entire front suspension.
I'm sure the entirty of his under cairrage is trashed. That rock stood at least 10 inches high, I'd be willing to bet he snagged more that a few things in it as het powered through it.

Good Lord! $2.5k for an airbox.......either the kid is sick from trashing his own car or someone is gonna get their ass whooped good. Imagine if that was a test drive, lol. Walk back to the dealer with the keys, "Nah I don't like it....it's 20 miles west of here."
