What the hell is this?

Just got my rodeo back from inspection, and one of the things on the emissions part of it was a fuel inlet restrictor. What the hell is that?

Maybe its the little flap where you stick the gas nozzle in at the pump. Haha, i have no idea. What motor does the rodeo have in it?

You know what, as stupid as that sounds, I think that might be it. It has a 3.1 in it. And RednBlack, I was thinking the same thing, and wondering how the hell to by-pass it! I guess I don't have to now.

or could it be something to make sure that you dont put a diesel gas pump in it ( i accidentally grabbed the diesel pump once and it wouldnt fit in my filler neck, phew that could have been bad)

^^Yeah that's what sappy was trying to say. I was told that back in the day, when you could still buy leaded gas, it was dispenced with the bigger nozzle like diesel.
