Ouch, looks like they are still turning a profit on that book. From what I've been told about it, it's worth every penny, though

How succesful has tuning turbo's been with obd-1? Especially without a wideband.

Surely it's not optimal but it's probably been done alot with obd-1 setups.

I know that there are some masks that are more appropriate than $A1 for a turbo'd motor.

I don't think these will work. They are multec 2 design unless I am mistaken and I need Multec 1 to replace the injectors currently on my fuel rail. Preferably something that is rated @ 43.5 psi.

thanks guys, I guess my first question should have been "which book should I read before asking questions on turbos" but since we arrived there smoothly I will go ahead and read that book and then report back with a full report and a plethora of questions

    thanks,

42.5 lb/hr injectors should be enough. For a pushrod 3.4, 36 lb/hr injectors from a GTP might even work.

    Water/meth injection isn't necessary for 7-9 psi.

    Generally:
    New Power = Stock Power * (1 + Your Boost Level / 14.7 psi)

Yes, if you are going to even think about doing a turbo, you need to read that book.

    You reccomend this particular book?

If so... I just might buy it.

Old material, but the theories still work. Buy and read (or download).

started a topic t3/t4 Garrett advice

    t3/t4 Garrett advice

What kind of power could be produced running 7-9 psi or so?

Would I have to use water/meth injection at that psi? How could I avoid not using water/meth injection?

Is there a general rule of thumb on how big injectors should be based off of desired psi?

    Simple questions for now, thanks
