Ok I decide that I am going to build a motor for my Beretta but I am not sure which one to start with If I get a 90-93 3.1 could I put the flat top pistons for a 2.8 that summit has. I know they have the same bore but are the wrist pins in the same place also would like to get a cam mill heads what should I do for the top end which heads would be the best.

the wrist pin is in a different location with relation to the top. It won't work. However you can use the 3.1 pistons meant for the iron headed engines (Camaro etc) they're not flat top but less dish area than your stockers, if high compression is what you're looking for.Brian
