I was going to try using a chevy 305 v8 knock module that came off a 1991 IROC camaro. Let me know how that works out for you. BTW... big F**kin turbo if I do say so myself. I was confident for the longest that I would have the fastest 3500 equipped car, but it looks like that is rapidly becoming a dying hope in the midst of you and Mars.

the setup (for now) is a ms1, 2.2 with knocksense. ms3 is very close to being an option. The MS1 is only there to get it running for now so i can at least get some mileage out of it before i have more downtime with an ms3. I got around to installing the crossover pipe and start fitting the new turbo... i still have to weld on the t-4ish turbo flange onto the crossover, i decided to just put it in with one bolt and just check clearances.. more coming, i got a week vacation coming up that i took to get this thing goin :chase:

I'm guessing that this a MSII and 3.0/ 3.57 PCB. I would love to know the specs on this unit. I can already see that you've got the "map-daddy" on it.

This thing is sick bro. I wish I had the know how, the tools, the shop, and the budget to do something crazy like this. This is truly awesome. Great work man.

pbr is good.. i started with mtn dew, then worked to beer as i got more frustrated with keeping everything organized.

little update... ive been sorting out most of the wiring in the car, making megasquirt/msd harness, body harnesses etc..decided to go with bulkhead connectors everywhere. all of the connectors were free (buddy discount), i want it to look right, plus added room in the harness and being able to be disconnected whenever is nice. once the wiring is sorted i can install the rest of the engine bay, then put the bumper on and wire the headlamps etc.

i saw a thread for the rear camaro shocks, looks like i might do the kyb adjustables, and for now leave the front shocks until i get it on the road. the brand new hd's came on the car (well in a package). for now im working on putting in a tilt column and starting to really get into wiring.

16" look OK if you have 0 offset.

I have run the sports at 3" drop and they work great, but the HD's bottom out. When you shorten the housing, you will still need to put tubing for spacers on the bottom of the damper tube, or they will bounce around inside.

I like the way you are going with the coil set-up, GC overcharges.

Did you do HD Bilstein, or Sports?
theyre hd's, ive looked into modding the tubes with mr2 inserts inside, and a spacer of course.
