St Louis Meet

This is an unofficial STL meet disscussion. I am looking to get some thoughts, ideas, and a time frame.

We can possibly set something up around the time the Power Tour comes to St Louis??

I will also let my local Grand Prix club know about this so they will attend.

Aaron (studlycamaro) since he live close to St Louis also, will be helping me set this up, he just doesn't know it yet.

Power Tour doesn't apprear to be really going through St Louis this year (although I'm just looking at the stops):

Saturday, June 2: Cleveland, Ohio
Sunday, June 3: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Monday, June 4: Racine, Wisconsin
Tuesday, June 5: Springfield, Illinois
Wednesday, June 6: Evansville, Indiana
Thursday, June 7: Memphis, Tennessee
Friday, June 8: Little Rock, Arkansas

If anything though, I might have to make the 4hr trip to Little Rock for the final day.

Thats odd, I wonder why they skipped St Louis this year?

They change the path every year so that they can get a more diverse crowd. We went on them back in 99 and 2000 when they basically were following the same path, but since around 02 or so, they started moving it around because some people from different areas were complaining that is was constantly too far for them to participate in.

Could come and see the lovely largest catchup bottle in the world in Collinsville IL!

Arch is cool, but a PITA to get into. Lines are long. There is gambling on the river, Forest Park, Planetarium with a laser show, go to the East side and watch the shootings, 6 flags (Boring), Bud factory is a must do, but a night at Lacledes Landing.......Yep!!

Looks like st lobster (thats for you lorenzo) is between brad and I pretty evenly. That works for me if someone else is planning it. Doesn't have to be in the city unless thats where the dynos and drag strips are at.

Nothing there is accurate. It's EAST ST.LOUIS that is dangerous, the rest of it is fine. East St.Louis isn't even in the same state as the rest of St.Louis.
