No I didn't see it yet until now. LMFAO, I sure called that one...haha.

I really like it. Definately not a typical teenage skull 'n crossbones 5 minute spray paint job.

I think about the only hood to beat it on a third gen would be this one, with good reason:

    With inside view:

It's a bit of a drive for us Iowa people but i'm looking forward to it. I plan on wearing my mullet wig and sleaveless Maiden shirt while blasting some 80's metal the whole way.
Grow a real mullet then chop it off after the meet, lol.

Don't forget the Sony Boombox for your shoulder and spray paint skull and bones on your hood. Then it would be official.

lol, I have a Gamo air rifle that would kill a small bore. It would drop a skunk easily.

I used it once to hunt out a rat in a buddies back yard. We had a lucky kill shot. I mean real lucky, right in the forehead and it split the rats head wide open. It left a splatter trail up the side of his shed. Of course, the pellets were designed to spread upon impact.

    flashlights? really?

It's pretty fun to have something 17-20x more powerful than the average person. It's the same thing as having a fast car, just another toy.

I also go caving, camping and was into urban exploration for a while.

Ask the guys that were at the '09 meet, there was some neat stuff in those caves that would have never been seen with a regular Maglite or even the trail lighting. "Bottomless pits" aren't bottomless with a serious light.

same here, i got tired of everyone humping the TK40. I still visit the marketplace once a week or so. scored a brand new black Surefire C2 body last week.

I guess it depends on the reflector used.. the 50 is an option but i have too many as it is. I sold my M6 to help fund the camaro.. lol

Dave, those Li-Ion cells dead too? I thought about the SST-90 but it would neat some serious copper heat sinking, an SST-50 would basically be what my 1amp x5 cree is, but single emitter. 3x5000mah C NiMH. The P7 heatsink I believe was found to not raise the SST emitter enough for focus though... I'm only on CPF about ever 3 months, I used to spend more time there than I do here even... Then it blew up and got flooded with newbs/etc.

Now I just have to decide on building a phlatlight SST-50/90 light or finish my 5x cree XR-E...

i want to build a Mag with a SST-90 since i have a few P7 heatsinks left but until AW comes out with D sized IMR's it's not worth it. I thought about running 3 P7 drivers in parallel but that's just asking for heat problems.

those cells are all pretty much dead, i use them in my E1B till it goes out of regulation then they sit around.. lol
