I know I could get a pulley, but Im gonna put the harmonic balancer on the 3400, then i can run an upgraded Alt, to help with my stereo.

I went 62k on a 3400 with a UDP installed from day one, and it was head gaskets that caused the motor to be removed... Plus I built the hybrid.

This debate isn't new news so I dont know why everyone freaks out and is all like... MAN that left a bad taste in my mouth when I found out. I knew of this debate from day one and I wasnt worried about it.
i was witness to the headgasket failure. and i had the antifreeze on my windshield to prove it.

That can be fixed by a diode or putting a slightly smaller pulley on the alternator... remember your water pump and PS pump will still be slightly underdriven... so your not totally removing the purpose of the pulley.

Heh, I have a bad voltage drop cause my battery is about dead. When cranking it drops to 8volts then the car will sometimes want to stall out cause the DIS has such low voltage, so I have to tap the gas to get it revving up the alternator and then the voltage flies up to 14v Yeah I need to replace it, it just hasn't let me down yet forcing me to lol

They are going to tell you to screw off if you blame them for your engine failure. Either buy it or dont, and its going to be at your own risk. Unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars to take them to court, over an engine you could replace for a fraction of that. You dont drive a race car, its going to be fine. There are plenty of people with the UDP who have had no problems, including myself.

Nope. If you use a UDP, you taking that risk on your own. They are not responsible for any damage that might happen to your engine.

FFP, MRZ, ASP, are all not responsible for this.

In the picture I posted with the two side by side, The black pulley was the Harmonic Balancer, which has the rubber in it. the smaller silver pulley was the UDP which does NOT have any rubber in it.
